When the day starts at night

I look at the moon bright

And wonder at the sight

Of cobbled streets and lamps alight

Walking Together 

Not worrying about traffic lights

And cars that could , you smother 

Lost in each other , we don't seem to bother

Telling stories of artists 

And sculptures , art innate

Through arches we pass and

Broken City Walls we wait 

We sit at the plaza

And play this game

I touch you four times

And you do the same 

You say , I bribed the pigeons 

To keep us at a distance

Lighten up the mood

Fills it with music , non-existent

We see them take flight , 

And different paths they tread 

One goes to the colossus 

Other to land of en vogue and trend

They Blow kisses to each other

From Island waters and beach 

Closing their eyes , still breath

Just hoping they'd reach

A different day , 

A different time ,

A different place , 

Another space , 

Maybe another land of rooftops and dome 

With each other , they will find themselves,home 

So That I Don't Feel So Alone

They say if you don't look for it 

It will come to you one day

But with each passing day I Atone 

So that I don't feel so alone

I turn off the light 

Lay my head on my wet pillow 

I bang my feet on my bed

To fill up the silence 

I sleep to people talking 

And remember the night , you left

And tore me apart , two halves

That keeps me some company 

You walked out my bed , 

And stood at the window ,

Moonlight on your face , 

A tear rolls down but it fills up the space

You wipe your tear unnoticed

While i slide my fingers over your shape

But i know this won't be no different

Cant live up to promises that we make 

You go crazy over someone 

Who's determined to push you away 

But your affection for someone 

Is no weakness , Its reason enough to stay 

Growing older since we met , 

Going colder than I ever dreamt

Made such that my heart knew what is beauty 

Still a wandering , meandering entity

Every journey brings " the one " in the end

Every journey brings together the start and the end 

That one person from whom its difficult to transcend

Is it just me or is this just the trend 

I've been thinking about you a lot lately

Squeezing time, even with thoughts to keep me worried, And

Enough work to keep me busy through the days 

In my journey called life yet ,

I've journeyed through India, Ireland and Italy 

You all " R " there ,  yet i cannot with any of you be

Vulnerable , Flawed , Needy , Imperfect , Thats just what makes me , me 

Ran out of reason , yet i cried 

Lost you to a dark space , like you just died

If you can hurt , you can love  

Don't know what i miss the most, I tried

Death of the heart ,

Is the ugliest death there is 

Never cross paths, we never talk 

Said you will but you never came back 

Weep for the love i will never have 

We can't be together , after all

Spend my time staring at the 

Scribbled Writings on the wall 

Look at them , come and go

Don't give it attention or it will only make it grow

This game of fast forwards and rewinds 

Touch , Tumble , Fall , Dominoes in a row

Things that attract you to a person

Are also things that drive you crazy

Bring me closer then push and shove

You really can't be realistic about love

It's so weird how one person decides two peoples fate

You say god better not play THE prank this time
But so easily you do the same crime

Vulnerability

Vulnerability makes you weak

But I believe it will strengthen our bond

Wiping the tears that you bleed
Hard Heart mine , straight face
Away and now my eyes are twinkling
Expressing my love , if only you could read

My thoughts of you are loud
They shout out through the distance
They plead to never let me go
Holding Hands through every moons silence

In broad daylight I dream awake
And fast forward to the future
Your Scent on my skin still deep
And Stare at you while you fall asleep

And it skips a few beat
Without you , scared of lonely

2 pillows and this bed for two

Seem lonely without you
Conspicuous by your absence ,
I wish you'd just lie with me in silence

Blossoming Romance
And sleepless Nights ,
Insecurities about seeing you
In the dark and in broad daylights

Time passes by and after a while
Wonder if this is really happening , I smile
Not knowing what to speak or say
Answered prayers of many a day

A Ripple of thoughts
All going astray
Of rights and wrongs
And not pushing away

If life could match what we imagine,
A Star would fall at your command
And I'd wish upon that shooting star
To be there with you always and beyond

Venus or Eros

Someone's breath on the back of your neck

Someone you wake up to

Someone to move you aside when lost in thought you walk in the middle of the street

Someone who counts your silent heartbeat

Someone who gives you a love bite

Someone who hugs you through the night

Someone who let's you in ,

Someones touch, elixir to your skin

Unfazed by things people say

Ignoring all their remark

Who will decide whats right and wrong?

Want to be like this and for how long ?

Should everything you do, be for a reason ??

Should things you do always mean something ??

No agenda , No alternate intention

Naked around you even with my clothes on

When you stare at me deep

Don't stare into the dark corners of my heart

They've seen Pain ,Sorrow and promises that I couldn't keep

Maturity and experience don't come with age

Away but still on the same page

Will be your crying shoulder

Will be your best mate

But promises I haven't made

There's been love and I could not reciprocate

There've been things that are misunderstood

Signs that don't mean what they should

Then again , everything I do is not for a reason
