Space in my Heart

In the remains of the night
You and me lying side by side
Space in my heart , I let you take up
Now I turn over and there's no one left to envelop

Wiggling through your hair
Making circles , undefined
You look at me and I try to find
If I'm visible in your eyes

When images start to haunt you
And ghosts become your friend
(They feed you fear and doubt)
When dark becomes a memory
A start comes to an end

I was willing to take care of you
I was willing to be there for you
But I set myself up for nothing that's at stake
All I wanted was to disconnect

But this isn't what our tears said
Claim your space in my heart , in my bed
I can only  love you more and more
With tears my eyes are sore
